Success vs Failure what is it going to be?
Getting ready to launch any business takes a lot of work! However, depending on what type of business you launch there will be some differences. When starting off on this venture I knew that I needed to get my social media accounts created, which I did. Now the next challenge comes content! Content is tricky with MLM because often times it sounds like a sales pitch so you have to walk a fine line between being a sales professional and an actual human. Not to mention with MLM companies you do not want to copy off another person's idea.
So what do you do?!?
The first thing to do is to create a list of all the types of content that you would like to promote. Now the ultimate goal is to get sales but keep in mind that sales will come with great content. You should be showing your products in such a way that its effortless to generate sales. This is not easy and is one of the hardest tasks to achieve in any company that you promote.
With my many years of sales experience the best way to sell or promote any product or service is to talk about the things that you are passionate about. Now when you are first starting off there will be many things that you are passionate about so keep in mind that you are not flooding your news feeds with information that is actually going to draw your customers away. For example, you must not on your personal page post 5 times a day about your company and opportunity if you want to keep your friends, people do not want to go on Facebook with their news feed being flooded with sales content. So this means you will have to create pages directly related specifically to your business. This is also known as a business page and there are many ways of creating a business page and what you do will depend on your needs. However, this doesn't mean that you can not promote your posts on your personal page. Your achievements, articles you have written and links to your business pages are all acceptable.
When you first start your business often times it seems like there is no support from your friends and family, which isn't entirely true. Often consultants feel as though their friends and family are not happy for them taking a step towards financial independence however, the truth is our friends and family do not want to see us fail. However, we need to get them to realize why buying something like $5 pieces of jewelry are better from us than a store. Besides the obvious reason of it benefiting us financially. This becomes a challenge for most consultants who then give up and then the vicious cycle continues.
The best first steps towards creating content is going to be documenting your journey. This is going to give you a human like feel and kind of break the ice a little for you. Now, after you get that initial part out of the way comes the details how is this opportunity benefiting you? What is it that you can do now that you couldn't do before? It could be something as simple as being able to give your children an allowance to it giving someone a reason to wake up in the morning. Whatever that benefit is get it out there. Everyone goes through situations in their lives and learning that something has helped someone and the how it helped will draw more people in and make them interested in learning more.
Now that you have created some content and got some people's attention make sure that you are scheduling your posts for consistency. Maybe Monday's you go LIVE during lunch or you post on Instagram on Wednesdays, whatever fits your schedule just do it and do not give up. Will you stumble sometimes? Yes, however that is the difference between success and failure, successful people fail sometimes and that is ok, they learn from it and try again and thats what defines success and failure.
